Courtnee & Josh’s Unforgettable Wedding
Courtnee & Josh tie the knot at Morning Star Estate
What do you get when you combine two stunning lovers with an all-star team of suppliers? An unforgettable wedding that is full of lush blooms, vibrant colours, and all the good vibes!
We teamed up with The Goodsmiths once again to bring the unique, quirky and whimsical wedding of Courtnee Crews and Josh Soon to life at Morning Star Estate.
The couple came to Nudo with a vision in mind, but simply needed a dream team to help bring it to life. With just a few months turnaround, Nudo’s experienced in-house teams bound together to create something greater than the couple could have ever imagined, starting with a mood board to bring it all together.
The planning process started with an initial meeting with The Goodsmiths team, allowing Courtnee, Josh, and their Wedding Planner, to go through each element of their wedding day to get an overall understanding of what is most important to them, and what their must-haves are. Courtnee and Josh’s overall vibe for their wedding was fun, chic and eclectic – they wanted anything but basic and traditional.
Their must-haves list included delicious Chinese food, a fine line tattoo artist, organic quirky florals, and an event that was warm and welcoming, yet cool, and effortlessly chic.
The affair would be taking place at Morning Star Estate, located in Mount Eliza, Victoria, a stunning property full of greenery galore, and plenty of space for the couple and their 75 guests to party the night away.
The Goodsmiths styling team were poised with the task of bringing the Estate to life with textural linens, bold styling, and other additions that would take the event to the next level.
Then, it was time for us to do what we do best. Anatomy of Flowers dreamt up a floral display for Courtnee and Josh’s ceremony and reception that encompassed their personality and style, combining bold blooms with elements of fruits and vegetables to add an organic, fanciful feel.
The ceremony backdrop featured wild greenery with bursts of bright, vibrant florals throughout, being placed around a stunning outdoor gazebo. Pops of hydrangeas, dahlias, delphinium, peonies and many more blooms were used, and this design was carefully handcrafted based on a unique vision from Courtnee and Josh.
The aisle was lined with lush floral arrangements to create a beautiful contrast against the green grass of the ceremony space.
When it came to the reception, this is where the magic truly came to life. The tablescapes paired textural linen elements in soft pastel hues, with bright blooms that combined height and shape to create a display that was bound to wow guests. With a combination of vaseless arrangements, alongside florals in modern vases, and elements of fruits and vegetables, each guest table was transformed into a quirky and effortlessly chic space that encompassed Courtnee and Josh’s personality and love story.
The Goodsmiths designed custom stationery to complement the floral designs throughout the venue, including personalised name cards, table numbers and signage to add pops of colour and flair. Table designs were whimsical and resonated perfectly with the couple’s personality, adding to the overall playful vibe that they were dreaming about for their nuptials.
Courtnee and Josh’s love affair was truly one for the ages, offering a unique, playful display that guests will remember for years to come. It was a pleasure to bring Courtnee and Josh’s vision from a vision to reality, and we are thrilled that she trusted Anatomy of Flowers’ expertise and experience to bring it all to life.
